Acquisition
Compare traffic sources, campaigns, and conversions using the selected attribution settings.
Open Reports, then Acquisition in the Hardal Dashboard.
Attribution configuration
Click Configuration to review the settings behind the report:
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Attribution Model | Choose First Touch, Last Touch, or Last Non-Direct Touch to decide which eligible touch receives conversion credit. |
| Lookback Window | Choose 7, 14, or 30 days for the attribution window. |
| Scope | Choose Consented Traffic, Unconsented Traffic, or All Traffic. |
| Conversion Events | Choose which event names count as conversions in this report. |
Click Save to apply configuration changes. The summary beside Configuration shows the current model, window, and traffic scope.
Use the same configuration, date range, and source filters when comparing results. Conversion counts depend on the selected conversion events and attribution settings.
Scorecards
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Consented Visitors | Unique visitors who provided tracking consent within the selected traffic scope. |
| Sessions | Sessions included in the selected traffic scope. |
| Conversions | Conversions credited by the selected attribution model. |
| Session Duration | Median duration of the included sessions. |
Commerce-enabled tenants also have revenue metrics. Use the metric tooltip for its definition; an unavailable value is different from zero.
Traffic Breakdown
Switch between Channel and Campaigns to compare traffic over time. Campaigns also provides All, Source, and Medium breakdowns. Click a chart legend entry to hide or show a series.
Traffic Distribution
The table shows source, medium, campaign, channel, sessions, conversions, conversion rate, and bounce rate.
- Use Filter by and Filter value, then Apply, to narrow the table. Clear removes that field filter.
- Use Group by to combine rows by a traffic dimension.
- Use Columns to choose the visible metrics.
- Use AI Focus to focus the table on AI-related traffic.
- Sort columns and use pagination to inspect the remaining rows.
An empty medium can appear for direct traffic. Read source, medium, and channel together rather than treating every blank field as a tracking failure.
When to use it
Use Acquisition to compare which channels bring traffic, which campaigns receive conversion credit, and how results change with attribution configuration.
