Verify a Destination is Working

Confirm that a Hardal destination is successfully receiving your events.

Check Recent Activity

The Recent Activity table on your Destinations page shows every event, which destinations received it (colored platform icons), and the delivery status. A "Success" status with the platform icon means end-to-end delivery worked.

If no events appear, trigger one manually — visit your site and perform the action that fires an event. Include consent: "true" for Marketing destinations.

Platform-specific testing

Most destinations offer a testing feature in the Advanced tab:

Meta CAPI — Toggle on Test Event Code, paste the code from Meta Events Manager → Test Events. Look for events labeled "Server."

TikTok Events API — Toggle on Test Event Code, paste from TikTok Ads Manager → Events → Test Events. Check the Diagnostics tab.

Snapchat CAPI — Toggle on Test Mode. Events are received as test data.

Pinterest CAPI — Toggle on Test Mode. Events are received as test data.

Reddit CAPI — Toggle on Test ID, enter your Reddit Ads test identifier.

Google Analytics 4 — Toggle on Test Event Code. Check GA4 → Configure → DebugView.

LinkedIn CAPI — No testing feature. Verify via Recent Activity and LinkedIn Campaign Manager → Analyze → Conversions.

Turn off all test modes and codes after verification. Test events may not appear in standard platform reports.
