What is Hardal?

Hardal is a cookieless, privacy-first analytics platform for e-commerce brands. It tracks visitor behaviour and conversion events without browser cookies, processes everything server-side, and forwards data to ad platforms and analytics destinations — GDPR and KVKK compliant.The short version: accurate attribution data without cookie banners.
Traditional analytics stores a tracking ID in the browser as a cookie. Ad blockers block it. Safari deletes it. Users clear it.Cookieless measurement skips the cookie entirely. Hardal identifies sessions server-side — nothing written to the browser, no consent banner needed for anonymous tracking, nothing for ad blockers to intercept.
Client-side tracking runs in the browser and sends data directly to third parties. Ad blockers, iOS restrictions, and browser privacy settings cut this data off.Server-side moves this off the browser. Your site sends events to Hardal’s servers, Hardal validates and processes them, then forwards clean events to your destinations. Server-to-server requests are far less likely to be blocked.
First-party data is collected directly on your own domain. When data goes to analytics.yourdomain.com, that’s first-party — browsers trust it more than requests going to external domains.Setting up a custom domain with Hardal converts all tracking to first-party collection.
A custom domain lets you collect analytics through a subdomain you control — like signal.yourstore.com — instead of Hardal’s shared infrastructure.Setup is a single CNAME record in your DNS. Once active, your tracking script and all event traffic run under your domain. See the Custom Domain guide.
