Sources
Use Sources to manage where Hardal collects events from.
Collection sources
Sources are the collection points connected to the selected tenant.
Open Organization, then Sources. The page lists sources for the active tenant.
Source table columns
The table shows one row per source:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Source name. |
| Source ID | Source identifier used by tracker and API requests. |
| Tenant | Tenant connected to the source. |
| Domain | Configured source domain, when present. |
| Status | Active or Paused. |
| Actions | Open Setup. Owners and admins can also edit or delete the source. |
Source actions
Setup opens the installation identifiers and instructions for that source.
Owners and admins can use Edit to change the source name, Source ID, or domain. Clear Active to pause the source, or select it to resume the source, then click Save Changes.
Delete opens a confirmation dialog before removing the source from Hardal. Historical analytics data remains in reporting storage.
When to use it
Open Sources when:
- You need to add a collection point.
- You need the installation snippet for an existing source.
- A source must be renamed, paused, resumed, or removed.
Start Collecting Events
Add a new source and confirm it appears with the expected status.
