Overview
Route events through your own server infrastructure using Server-Side Google Tag Manager, Meta CAPI, or TikTok's Events API Gateway.
Server-side hosting moves your tracking away from the browser entirely. Instead of firing pixels client-side (where ad blockers and browser restrictions interfere), you run a server that receives events from Hardal and forwards them to your ad platforms.
The result: more complete data, better attribution, and less exposure to browser-based blocking.

When to use server-side hosting
Server-side hosting is worth setting up when:
- You're running significant paid spend on Meta or TikTok and need accurate CAPI data
- Your audience is heavily Safari/iOS (where browser pixels are most degraded)
- You want to combine Hardal's privacy-first, first-party data with server-side destination routing
- You're hitting rate limits on client-side pixels
Start with Meta CAPI if you're running Meta ads. It's the single highest-impact server-side integration for most e-commerce brands — the signal quality improvement feeds directly into Meta's campaign optimization algorithms.
