Get Hotjar API Key

  1. Log in to your Hotjar account
  2. Go to Account Settings > API
  3. Generate a new API key
  4. Copy the API key and site ID

Set Up Hardal Connection

In your Hardal dashboard:
  1. Navigate to Destinations > Add Destination
  2. Select Hotjar
  3. Enter your API Key and Site ID
  4. Verify the connection

Configure User Tracking

Choose which data to send:
  • User identification and attributes
  • Custom events for heatmap filtering
  • Conversion and goal tracking
  • Session metadata
