Get Amplitude API Key

  1. Log in to your Amplitude dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Projects
  3. Select your project and copy the API Key
  4. Optionally, get the Secret Key for additional security

Configure Hardal Integration

In your Hardal dashboard:
  1. Navigate to Destinations > Add Destination
  2. Select Amplitude
  3. Enter your Amplitude API Key
  4. Choose your data center region (US or EU)

Map Event Properties

Configure how Hardal events map to Amplitude:
  • User ID → Amplitude User ID
  • Event names → Amplitude event names
  • Custom properties → Amplitude event properties
  • User properties → Amplitude user properties

Validate Data Flow

  1. Send test events from Hardal
  2. Check Amplitude’s Live Events view to confirm data is arriving
  3. Verify user properties and event properties are correctly mapped
